All Anchorage area SA meetings (except for the 6:30 am Monday morning meeting) are closed meetings. Closed meetings are open only to those who wish to stop their own sexually self-destructive thinking and behavior. Open meetings are open to anyone.
Please note that only those who are legally adults may attend SA meetings.
Monday morning 6:30 am (AA Big Book study meeting) OPEN MEETING
University District, First Congregational Church, 2610 E. Northern Lights Blvd (near Lake Otis).
Drive east on Northern Lights through the Lake Otis Blvd. Intersection. The church will be on the right. There is an upper and lower parking lot for the church, but only the doors in the lower parking lot are unlocked. After driving east on Northern Lights and proceeding through the Lake Otis intersection, the lower parking lot is the second exit on the right and is on the back side of the church. To get to the meeting room, enter through the double glass doors. Once inside the building, the meeting is in the large dining area through the doors on the right.
Monday Noon (closed meeting, open topic )
Downtown, Holy Family Center, 844 W. 5th Avenue (corner of 5th Avenue and I Streets). Enter through the covered doorway opposite the church. The doors are always locked; if you are late, ring the doorbell (which works sometimes). Keep trying. Meeting is in the St. Matthew Room (first room on your left).
Monday Evening, 6:00 p.m (closed meeting, open topic)
Eagle River, St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 16300 Domain Lane, Eagle River
Take “Eagle River” exit from the Glenn Highway, and turn onto the Old Glenn Highway. The Church is on a large hill west of the freeway interchange. If you are on the freeway northbound, bear left at the exit and cross over the freeway and turn left onto Eagle View Drive, then right onto Domain Lane. If you are on the freeway southbound, the exit ramp becomes Eagle View Drive. Drive to the main, covered entrance of the church. Enter and cross the lobby straight ahead. At the far end of the lobby is entrance to the main part (“Nave”) of the church; the meeting is in the back left corner of the main part in the glassed-in area (the “Mother of God Chapel”).
Tuesday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)
Eagle River, ACF Church, 16620 Brooks Loop.
Take “Eagle River” exit from the Glenn Highway, and turn onto the “Old Glenn Highway” into downtown Eagle River. The ACF Church is located at the intersection of the Old Glenn and Eagle River Road. . Drive one block past the Eagle River Road traffic light, turn left onto Brooks Loop, (next to a Wells Fargo Bank), and the take another left to enter the church property. Park on the south side (main entrance) and walk through the right hand door. Upon entering, turn right, go upstairs to the second floor, and the room is on the left.
Tuesday evening, 6:00 pm. (closed meeting, SA White Book study):
Midtown, Change Point Church, 6689 Change Point Drive (Minnesota Drive and Raspberry Road). If arriving from the west, turn left onto “Alaska’s Best Place” drive; if from the east, turn right onto Change Point Drive. NOTE ROOM CHANGE: follow the road signs to the “East Entrance.” Take the stairs (on the right) or the elevator (around to the left) to the second floor. The meeting room is Worship Suite 201 straight ahead when you exit the elevator. (There’s a diagram in the elevator if you get lost.)
Wednesday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)
Midtown, Viking Hall, 8141 Briarwood Street (off Dimond Blvd, between Old and New Seward Hwy).
Enter from back of building through the “Dry Dock” entrance.
Thursday evening, 6:00 pm (closed meeting, Step Study)
University District, First Congregational Church, 2610 E. Northern Lights Blvd. (near Lake Otis).

Friday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)
Dry Dock (same location as Wednesday morning meeting).

We have lost our Mat-Su Valley Meeting space and are seeking another as of October 1. Please check back with this website; we’ll post the new location as soon as we get one!

Currently we have a meeting available for all of the towns on the peninsula including Whittier, Hope, Moose Pass, Seward, Cooper’s Landing, Sterling, Soldotna, Kenai, Nikiski, Kasilof, Clam Gulch, Ninilchik, Happy Valley, Anchor Point, Nikolaevsk, Homer, Fritz Creek, and Fox River.
