All  Anchorage area SA meetings (except for the 6:30 am Monday morning meeting)  are closed meetings. Closed meetings are open only to those who wish to stop their own sexually self-destructive thinking and behavior. Open meetings are open to anyone.

Please note that only those who are legally adults may attend SA meetings.

Anchorage Meetings

Monday morning 6:30 am (AA Big Book study meeting) OPEN MEETING

University District, First Congregational Church, 2610 E. Northern Lights Blvd (near Lake Otis).
Drive east on Northern Lights through the Lake Otis Blvd. Intersection. The church is the large building on the right.
The meeting is in the large room straight ahead.

Monday Noon (closed meeting, open topic )

Downtown, Holy Family Center, 844 W. 5th Avenue (corner of 5th Avenue and I Streets). Enter through the covered doorway opposite the church. The doors are always locked; if you are late, ring the doorbell (which  works sometimes). Keep trying. Meeting is in the St. Matthew Room (first room on your left).

Tuesday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)

 Eagle River, ACF Church, 16620 Brooks Loop.
Take  “Eagle River” exit  from the Glenn Highway, and turn onto the “Old Glenn Highway” into downtown Eagle River. The ACF Church is located at the intersection of the Old Glenn and Eagle River Road. . Drive one block past the Eagle River Road traffic light, turn left onto  Brooks Loop, (next to a Wells Fargo Bank), and the take another  left to enter the church property. Park on the south side (main entrance) and walk through the right hand door. Upon entering, turn right,  go upstairs to the second floor, and the room is on the left.

Tuesday evening, 6:00 pm. (closed meeting, SA White Book study)

Midtown, Change Point Church, 6689 Change Point Drive (Minnesota Drive and Raspberry Road).  Coming from the West, turn onto Alaska’s Best Place.  Coming from the East, turn onto Change Point Drive.  Follow signs to “East Entrance/Sports Dome.”  Park at East Entrance.  Enter through the left double doors at the East Entrance; then go left once you are inside and go down a short hallway.  Go through a second set of double doors and the elevators will be on your right.  Take the elevator to the second floor, then go down the hall straight ahead.  We are in the Susitna Room, first door on your left (before the hallway makes a 90-degree turn).  If this is confusing, there is a map inside the elevators showing the Susitna Room.

Wednesday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)

Midtown, Viking Hall, 8141 Briarwood Street (off Dimond Blvd, between Old and New Seward Hwy).
Enter from back of building through the “Dry Dock” entrance.

Thursday evening, 6:00 pm (closed meeting, Step Study)

University District, First Congregational Church, 2610 E. Northern Lights Blvd. (near Lake Otis).
(same location as Wednesday morning meeting).

Friday morning, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)

Dry Dock (same location as Monday noon meeting).

Saturday morning, 7:30 a.m (closed meeting, AA Big Book study)

Holy Family Center (same location as Monday noon meeting).

Mat-Su Valley Meetings

Thursday, 6:30 am (closed meeting, open topic)

7331 East Palmer Wasilla Highway (one mile west of Trunk Road, just before the MTA Sport Center and Alyeska Tire—the cross street is North Ranch Road). Turn into the gravel driveway at the “Shadow Mountain Professional Center, 7335 East Palmer Wasilla Highway. There are two buildings; the left one is 7331. It has a brown outside staircase and an “Alaska Log Furnishings” sign. Enter through the double doors under the outside stairs. Inside are three doors; take the middle one and go upstairs. The meeting area is around to your left.

Currently we have a meeting available for all of the towns on the peninsula including Whittier, Hope, Moose Pass, Seward, Cooper’s Landing, Sterling, Soldotna, Kenai, Nikiski, Kasilof, Clam Gulch, Ninilchik, Happy Valley, Anchor Point, Nikolaevsk, Homer, Fritz Creek, and Fox River.
